CiP: recommendations wanted for OpVM^Kiku with 4 runes

I have a handful of 3-4 rune wins but keep in mind my first 15-rune win was last month with a GrEE by following the player guide on the Wiki:
" Majang's Disquisition on the Nether Reaches (0.20) - extended game walk-through "
I'm looking for recommendations on anything since I've never made it this far with an Octopod, and in the past I would have just gone for the win since I'm still feeling fragile with AC=16 (and that is with Ozocubu's Armour)!

I'm thinking of heading for the Abyssal rune next but I've never changed Gods before. So I don't know if sticking with KiKu for now somewhat suicidal.
Also, I'm fairly certain my spell list could likely be tweaked (so I shortened the list of spells available to any that I read others would consider for a similar build).

The only major issue I've had a handful of times so far is the *Corrode kicking in and running our of Mana...while trying to finish off an almost dead last straggler.
But that is mostly when I didn't have Death Channel active from the start.

I'd remove both rings with *Corrode, you already have rC+ and both sInv and rPois are only situationally useful, you can switch to them when needed. Extra MP are not that useful when you have 78 MP already.
If you want 15 runes, I'd stay with Kiku as it gives torment protection and improves Death's Door which you have online already.
Underestimated: cleaving, Deep Elf, Formicid, Vehumet, EV
Overestimated: AC, GDS

I'd strongly suggest to learn simulacrum. Really no reason to not knowing it at 1% fail rate with kiku.
I'd suggest to learn infestation and sub of blood too.
