Re: Help removing someone from online chat

Afaik this is not possible without time noone would be willing to spend (ip) and all you could do (if that option would be present) is banning an alias which can be created again and again.

What you can do (it helped me when someone spammed things like "Your mother"+xyz ):
- ignore him
- laugh about him. Helps when others (specs) do that, too. You can drop a line like "That's a 12-y old jerk seeking attention. Maybe even 10 y"
- don't talk to him or even express that you're angered by it. Sooner or later he will give up because it is (99%) a 12-y old jerk seeking attention :)

Re: Help removing someone from online chat

There isn't a way for you to do this (unfortunately) but server admins can ban accounts/IPs, and what you describe would be a bannable offense; can you let one of us know the specific game/server this was happening during, and a username if you have it? It's true that if someone's determined they can probably find their way back, but there are some things to try.

If you don't have any other spectators, or depending on how much you care about other spectators, you can try reloading your page. It'll kick anyone watching, and they have to rejoin. If that's just the spammer, maybe they'll leave. Depending on if you have other people watching you care about, it could be worth a shot at least.
