Terrible situation with Disapater

My TcCK, with what had been an amazing mutation set (robust 3 and like 10 pips of resistance), got teleportitis 3 and blurry 1. Perhaps foolishly, I continued trying to get my last couple runes. Trying to get #14, this happened:

Notably, I have no brilliance pots for any plan that involves statue form. Quicksilver dragon is next to me, making any scroll of teleport plan risky. What would you do? (Specifically, what is your exact sequence of keypresses? :))

Probably I'd blink behind those two skeletal warrios on NW hoping blurry 1 doesn't kill you. They should have enough HD to prevent other foes to hellfire and bolt dispel you, while being weak enough to not be able to kill you in melee (hopefully).

Then ?fog then ?teleport.

Then get the fuck out of hells and quaff some !mut to get rid of some of that bad shit you have.

I was really resistant to quaffing muts, worried I would wreck robust 3 and all the good stuff, and hoping Xom would clean it up, but, yea, I gotta bite the bullet.

Robust 3 is excellent (possibly the only good significant muts along with wild magic) but teleport 3 is deadly on end vault - where dangerous enemies are grouped together - double so with blurry vision 1

Stacking up a bunch of AC mutations is a significant improvement for most characters, and simply an improvement for the rest.

Five scrolls of blinking, over 200 HP left. No worries, mate! Blurry 1 or not.

EDIT: specifically, I would blink behind that top right skeletal warrior, run to the right behind the wall where Dispater is, pick the rune and get the f outta there.

You have a ring with evokable random blink, too. But I agree with the suggestions to read a scroll of blinking.

I would blink behind the two skeletons. What next would depend on what happens, but probably I would either blink again (further away out of LOS) or use a fog. As soon as the pressure isn't so dire, I'd teleport away and possibly go hunt for some mutation potions in abyss to get rid of teleportitis if I wanted to play it safe.. otherwise I'd just try again to kill dis.

The blurry vision 'aint great, but it's also not a total dealbreaker. Just about any other course of action is potentially a lot riskier. You need to get your health back and bust up that gang of tormenting, hellfiring monsters so that at least you aren't swarmed while tackling the boss. Getting rid of the teleportitis is better than hanging onto the robust.

I'm glad I posted. Someone in IRC was suggesting some combination of hastes and teleports, and blinking behind the skeletons was far and away the best decision. Everything was anti-climatic after reading Blink. I never got tormented or anything. Then I TPed, left Hell, cleared the bad muts, and finished the game easily.
