Does training armour increase the AC gained from Statue Form

Does training armour increase the AC bonus gained from statue form? In other words, does training armour have any benefit if I intend to do most of my fighting as a statue?

No, the AC bonus is (20 + (spell power)/12, max 37) . Disclaimer: says wiki. Statue form is a form, not a piece of armour, so armour skill has no effect on it.
