Hat of Ponderousness+DDFi?

Is this a good, or at least acceptable combo till i find a hat that doesn't slow me down to a dungeon crawl?

EDIT: just found a randart +4 helmet with blink and str+3, i'm probably gonna go with that unless someone has a hot take on why i should put on the slug hat

For the love of god, use that helmet. I would consider thoughing the hat in lava at this point.

IMO hat is best when you have spirit shield and need MR. DD have great MR and can't really use spirit shield. The hat also gets better with good translocation like blink and passage.

Also the hat can be good for hybrids and with chei/na/ba
