That's interesting. I never felt that my damage was lacking as Tr, although accuracy can be annoying.

I guess you are right in the sense that you get something that's always useful for Str, while the returns for Dex/Int are more marginal.

I should probably fsim a bit to see how much Str does and how much Dex does.

You should always take S on trolls. As duvessa says, it offers good returns in damage. It also improves your SH, particularly with a large shield.

I don't know how to do that, or rather, I don't know what benchmarks to use and how to set up a character realistically for that test.

Just pick a level of fighting or UC, then you will get a simple table that shows defence.

You could also pick levels for fighting and UC then you get a simple single output, including defence.
