Acid dragon, brown ugly thing, and a wizard on level 3

Is this a bug or just "unusual" luck? (I won't say bad because the character actually killed two out of three, and survived to run away from the dragon)

Sounds like the out-of-depth timer. Did you spend a lot of time on the level? Otherwise it could be a particularly nasty vault, but that seems unlikely.

It was the one with a little castle at top, a moat, full of large and small kobolds. The mummy had wasted a lot of time, as mummies do, but not on that level; the acid dragon showed up really early during exploration.
