Training stealth

How does one effectively train stealth? I want to build a DS stabber with the hope of getting the dungeonstalker mutation but want to be able to train up stealth well. Also, stalker background? Enchanter?

Re: Training stealth

Walk near unaware monsters with xp in the pool.

There's basically nothing you can actively do to train stealth faster, but you can slow down stealth training by victory dancing the whole pool into some magic skill. Mostly, stealth takes care of itself if you don't turn it off.

Re: Training stealth

Do wandering monsters count as unaware for stealth training purposes? That is, could one 'actively' train stealth by going to a different level for long enough for monsters to start wandering on the first, then returning?

Re: Training stealth

Re: Training stealth

It trains slowly when not doing anything (resting and walking around). It trains faster when there are unaware monsters in your LOS (wandering or sleeping)
<+Grunt> You dereference an invalid pointer! Ouch! That really hurt! The game dies...
