Swapping places mechanics?

Hello guys, quick question to pros: How does swapping places with allies work, exactly?

How long does it take? Is it just like a regular movement? Can you be hit in the midst of it?
Can you circumvent naga and/or chei slowness with this?

Thanks and happy thanksgiving to the people on the other side of the puddle!

Just like regular movement. Slowness still applies. You can't be hit in the middle, just like you can't be hit in the middle of a normal step, because it's just the same.

Re: Swapping places mechanics?

You will always be the first one to act. It doesn't matter how slow your char needs to move for one turn; yes, even if you're using a Quadruple Naga of Chei with 11.2 (112 aut) movedelay per tile. A Naga of Chei can't get hit while swapping even if you were beside a Spriggan Defender unless:

1. There's an enemy with a crossbow/spell since they either penetrate/smite targeted

2. The Spriggan wielding quickblade killed your ally X and since your movedelay is 2.8, he might (depends on the amount of aut he consumed to kill your ally X) have a lot of room to act afterwards

3. It's a summoned minion that expired as soon as you swapped
