I was in a nook containing a fountain, standing on the fountain, and cast conjure flame in the entrance, one square up from my character. The flame caused the fountain to steam, and I could not get out because of the fire. I did not know that fountains could produce steam.

Also you can kill monsters with steam. Sometimes it's kinda useful.
