Is there any why to get resistance to Starcursed mass paralyze? Had MR maxed and was still getting paralyzed a ton. When you check the monter it doesn't even show that they have a spell to paralyze you with.


I have tried for the Abyss rune but have never found it yet.

Hit them to make them merge, they can only paralyze you if there's a bunch of them on screen.

Kill them before there get to be too many, or run.

MR doesn't resist everything. Starcursed Masses and Giant Eyeballs can both paralyse you without checking MR, swamp dragon breath can confuse you without checking MR, catoblepas breath can petrify you without checking MR...

Basically if the monster description doesn't mention a spell and a success rate, it probably doesn't check magic resistance.

Hostile enchantments means "able to be resisted by resistance to hostile enchantments."

MR only helps against certain threats, and that doesn't include starcursed masses. THe only way to resist it is with stasis, and Im not even sure that works.
