Shield advice

Hey there. I'm wondering if I should use or at least keep for Crypt the Gong shield. I really like the one I already have, but that opinion is not backed by any hard math.

Gong is bad, makes way too much noise and draws everything to you.

You should train a bunch more fighting, by the way.

I can't find a commit that changed Gong in the last 2 years or so. Besides, being loud is literally the whole point of Gong. I think you might be mistaken.

I might misremember. Probably I thought there used to be a mention of the noise it creates in the description and came to a wrong conclusion when I didn't see one.
So I put it on, and *PANG* the noise is still there. :lol:

If you want to win, don't use it, unless you can handle horde of monsters. If you don't care about winning, Gong shield is pretty fun.

The shield of the gong is a trap unless you also worship qazlal or have the singing sword.

The warlocks mirror, however, is able to reflect hostile enchantments and is really, really good.
I'm with tasonir on this one.
