Spectral Weapon?

Is spectral weapon useful in extended? The x1.5 damage from area attacks (ie: hellfire) seems really rough.

Yes, it is. You just gotta be careful about when you use it.

I don't think you take full self-damage from it though, but I might be mistaken. Either way if you can get the spellpower up decently high it's a strong spell.

I was just thinking last night about how spectral weapon is good but amulet of harm is bad, and I think a large part of it is that you can control to some extent when you take damage from the spectral weapon.
