Deck advice needed

Hey all,
as you might know from another thread i am playing a wizard atm, XL11 demigod. Now i found 2 decks:
- ornate deck of war
- plain deck of wonders

I did draw an exp card from the deck of wonders so far, i was just too curious to see what would happen.

But should i use all the cards up from the deck of wonders?
And what about the deck of war, is it useful for a wizard at all?

Then i died by a skeleton though .

Watch out for the decks of changes; could take a promising spellcaster and swap his int out for his low Str score.

You don't have to get decks of wonder, decks of destruction are good as it gives you some range capability, decks of summoning can be fun (from all the Kobolds you can't eat)

Although you do have to watch for the little hearts. Got into a sticky situation, spam deck of summoning 3 times, before realising that none of them had the little hearts that meant that they were friendly.

I like Kobold Artificer as the uber-nemelex player. Bonus to all the skills you might want; and you can sacrifice all the non-meat permafood freely (or even all permafood) and still be good since you can feast on corpses in the early game. The 5000 XP from deck of wonders is amazing if you get it at temple. I also always end up with plenty of summoning decks, which at Legendary and with 15+ Evocations create some really awesome stuff; often better than an equivalent level summoner since theres fewer hostiles most of the time.

This comment was silly for several reasons. One is that, yes, you don't need decks of wonder to benefit from nemelex.

Another is that decks of wonder do not come solely from saccing permfood.

A third is that trolls clearly do not have food problems.

Trolls of nemelex are good. I hope you enjoy them.
