Why throwing randomly slow down in webtitles?

As the title says, I wonder why ranged combat - that includes throwing, bow\crossbow and even polearms' reaching - after a bit of playing start randomly to heavily slow down. This problem affects the "animation" of aiming and firing if using tab to fight things. Strangely enough this never happens if using ''f' command - or 'v' for polearm.

I've uploaded a WebM that shows this problem: the first two shot are "real-time" and made with 'tab', while the last one - it's kinda fast because it's only 1 title - with 'f' command.

This problem seems to appear randomly, and then disappear after a bit as well.
Does has anyone idea why it happens, and if it is resolvable? Btw, I've disabled animation since long time.

when if starts to slow down I usually restart a game;
maybe macro "f." to some other key and use it instead of tab

it's a known issue, hopefully recently fixed. If you still see it from tomorrow please update this thread

For what it's worth, I think it's something about how autofight chooses targets -- it looks like it's iterating over cells and incrementally moving towards the target. It also seems to get worse when there are a lot of conceivably targetable tiles within the total possible LOS (tiles with items or monsters within 7 tiles, whether or not they're visible to the player).

I tried to reproduce it locally a few times but have yet to succeed.

Thank for looking into it. From my experience, it appears quite often - but I haven't thought to check in whatever situation it could happen. I've no idea if it may appear on local tiles.
Is it actually a know bug? Do you think it's the case to report it on mantis?

I think it happens when there's a lot of trash on the ground.
