Is it a good idea to build a char around "Devastator" ?

I talk about : the +6 shillelagh "Devastator" {shatter}...
Online stats
Fastest Hell runes (enter Hell branch -> get the rune)
Icy : 56 / Iron : 126 / Obsidian : 215 / Bone : 125

How would you even? Or are you going to load it with wizmode at some point?

Devastator is pretty good for the early-mid game aside from the noise issues, but the damage doesn't keep up with normal weapons. Also, the noise is a problem. Once you have the option to use a decent standard M&F weapon, you should probably switch.
