Was this supposed to happen?

I don't recall what exactly did trove require, but I think it was piety because it said something about god forgetting you once you enter the place. I entered anyway 'cause Okawaru piety is fairly easy to boost, and found my piety level only dropped by 1 *. I can still cast heroism without any problem.

How did this happen?

That's weird, because in your message log it says you lost the ability to use heroism, but in the other screenshot you've got tons of piety.

Yeah I'm wondering if this is really a bug, or taking only 1 item from the trove means you just lose less piety.

I did this yesterday with Makhleb and lost all piety immediately upon entering the trove. Must be a bug.

You aren't in a trove in the second picture, was it taken directly after entering the trove? The text mentions you can't use heroism anymore...Are there any entries in the morgue about this? I know it notes when you gain god powers, but I'm not sure if it only does that the first time, or if you lose piety and regain it, then it prints another entry about gaining the power...
