Can vampires (v0.8) learn invocations?

Apologies if this has been asked before: both "vampire" and "invocations" are apparently too-common search terms.

Can vampires (in v0.8) learn invocations? I know they've got a -2 aptitude, but I've sunk several hundred points into it and haven't picked up that elusive first rank yet. I'm trying to get better results from Kikubaaqudgha's corpse creation. Is all this experience just going down the toilet when I invoke Kiku powers?

Kiku abilities don't use or train invocations in 0.8, they're just based on necromancy skill. Vampires can learn invocations with other gods who do use them, though.
