Re: I think we learned an important lesson today.
If you put on an amulet of stasis while hasted, you get glowed.
Ask fellow adventurers how to stay alive in the deep, dark, dangerous dungeon below, or share your own accumulated wisdom.

What I was lacking was an amulet of clarity: I got confused right off the bat and by the time I got unconfused I was -1 Int. It was only a few turns after that that I "forgot to breathe". And isn't there a potion that brings stats back up? I should have packed one of those in my bag lunch.

quick etymology lesson- necro = death, phage = eat(usually used to describe WHAT something eats) so literally, it means "death eater". in this specific scenario i would take "death" to be synonymous with "decay" and would therefore expect the thing to eat rotting corpses - analogous to the "saprovore" trait some races have.

Yeah. Also, even though the grapevine will tell you that having at least 8 of every stat will save you from stat death... it is wrong. It is horribly wrong. Stats can go into the negatives as far as they need to.

Monsters shouldn't be able to attack you twice because of energy randomisation.
