Multiple manuals, same skill

So I managed to stumble across TWO manuals of Fighting.

I understand the learning bonus doesn't stack. But if I carry both in my inventory, am I 'burning' them both up while only getting a single benefit? Or is it safe to keep carrying the second manual, knowing it will kick in when the first one is 'used up'?

A really nice find you are save to carry them both and skill up! I had the same thing with 2 manuals of ice magic though I'm not sure which is used first. Also remember that skilling is not linear ie; 1 manual will work from lvl1-12 for instance but a 2nd will only get you from lvl12-15 for example. Good luck!

There's no way to "waste" them aside from choosing to leave them on the floor or not training Fighting.
