Regen Rate vs. Hunger Rate

Do all forms of regeneration affect hunger rate?

Here is what I believe:
Regenerating due to wearing troll leather armour or an amulet of regen or other item increases hunger, stackingly.
Regenerating due to absorbing nearby life force from Demonic Mutation should not affect hunger.
Having the "faster healing" mutation should not affect hunger (trolls have the separate hungry mutation).

Is this true, code-wise?

Does hunger take into account the current rate of regeneration?

For example, if I'm wearing TLA and have Demonic Mutation and Faster Healing, should my hunger be even more increased than if I was just wearing TLA?
I'm currently playing a Demonspawn with the above scenario, and my hunger rate feels faster when healing than if I had just the TLA on, alone.

Regen, Trog's Hand (which is, naturally, mutually exclusive with the former), and being a troll always[*] increase your hunger rate, no matter what.

An amulet of regeneration and TLA/hides increase your hp only if you aren't at max HP (though they may not necessarily give you any HP that turn). Since PbD makes you be at max HP faster, it actually makes you get less hunger from those items (as well as less hunger from waiting around for your HP to restore).

Basically, there is no code connection between anything giving you HP and it giving you extra hunger.
