Ru reject sacrifices vs just ignoring them

Ru gives me an ability called "Reject sacrifices".

Do I have to reject the sacrifices offered, or can I just wait for them to time out?

They won't time out; you must reject. Reject sooner rather than later.

I guess you might want to empty your wand of fire before sacrificing artifice, or something...but yeah, usually you want to make a decision immediately after the choices are offered.

Well, there's no rush. The only thing is that there is a non-noticeable delay if you reject sacrifices, so the sooner you reject, the less you theoretically wait.

The delay upon rejecting sacrifices is certainly not non-noticable, although it's not an extremely long time or anything. It also gets longer if you keep rejecting, but resets once you do actually take a sacrifice.

Generally, you can't afford to be too picky when it comes to sacrifices, otherwise you'll get your abilities much later in the game, and you really want them as early as possible so they can actually be of help to you. So as long as one of the options doesn't utterly ruin your character, you should take it.
