Discord and Chei abilities

If I cast Discord and then use either Step from Time or Temporal Distortion, will the enemies still be affected by Discord during chei's ability effects, or will they simply stop going berserk and just wander away/fall asleep?

You can't cast Discord under Chei.

Discord causes penance (you hasted things). IIRC Chei removes your abilities during penance. So unless you can end your penance very quickly the answer is no.

From trog wrath, I'd assume that they would stay berserk during step from time if chei did let you Discord. (Chei is good at trog wrath if you can avoid dying until you get Step from Time).

But why someone would go from Trog to Chei if he care about winning/stay alive?

For fun? there's a continuum between optimal play and facemashing the keyboard, different people will want different spots at different times. (Also for CSDC points, which was where I did it)

not sure whether you can't cast disord at all, never play chei myself, but if the only problem is berserking them wouldn't it be possible to discord some demons and then step from time?

Berserk isn't enough to carry them for extended and they choose Chei for the extra INT to take up Spellcasting? Chei IS one of the strongest extended gods.

I think being godless and with a stick of haste is much better than being with Chei in extended unless speed running or doing other silly things.
But I don't want to play extended since ages, so I'm not really suggesting what to do in extended!

Berserk is not the reason you run with Trog.
