God Weapon Branding

So,about the gods that allow branding a weapon (Holy, Distort, or Pain) at max piety level...

Which, if any, of these can be placed on a ranged weapon? I seem to think I read somewhere that Holy could (in some version or other), but can the others?

Only holy, launchers can't have distortion or pain brand.
