Tasonir's Let's Play: Now with some octopodes dying
So part 1 is up and posted to youtube, clocking in at 1 hour 20 minutes, and covering from the game start until the end of lair. I somehow managed to actually fill that time with talking, which was a bit of a surprise to me, it seems I actually do like the sound of my own voice.
Some things I should try to fix include actually recording the screen at 16:9 so there isn't letterboxing - I was fairly close to this but not quite so there's some small bars. For audio there is a slight echo/reverb which isn't too terrible but it is definitely there. Not quite sure how to fix that, if you've dealt with that before let me know. If you turn down the volume slightly that will make it more bearable - the volume is a bit higher than I expected it to be.
Was kind of surprised how long it took to add an audio track to the video - adding the sound required about 20 minutes of processing on a quad core i7
Feedback on the run, the recording method, etc is most welcome. I might try recording audio/video together later on, but I have a rather loud keyboard which imho is quite annoying to record.
Officially ruining greatplayer statistics since Jan 18th, 2015.
