Felids currently have no way to enchant weapons / ammo.

The only way you're getting into that stash is if you find or acquire a suitable demon sword, which is exceedingly unlikely.

Woops! Sorry, wasn't aware of that terminology. Used to a certain other game where a RoR is a ring of regeneration. Will keep that in mind :)

Ah, that's too bad. Hopefully someone will eventually make it so they can "clumsily bash" with weapons in their mouth. Ah well, thanks magey.

It wouldn't work flavor-wise though. How is a Felid supposed to read an incantation with a weapon in her mouth?
Regarding stairs, I like to go down them. -daggaz

The same way an ash worshipper can put on a ring while wielding a cursed executioner's axe.

Or, a bit closer to the example you give, the same way a felid can recite an incantation with a deck in its mouth.

I've split off the off-hand butchering discussion in its own GDD thread.
OK, I've had enough of the giant thread, I'm locking it. Its only purpose is to have the same questions asked over and over again and being impossible to search for the answers.
Creating a thread is incredibly easy. Choose a good title so it can easily be searched for later.
And if the question is too small to need their own thread, go ask it on ##crawl.
<+Grunt> You dereference an invalid pointer! Ouch! That really hurt! The game dies...
