Ghost player behaviour

If a ghost player kills me, will our 2 ghosts haunt the same player in another game ?

If I ignore a ghost in one of my game, will he be back to haunt another game ?

if you die on the same floor as a ghost and you're later than i think lair:2 or orc:2/d:10 your ghost stays on the floor with the old one, the ghost doesnt have to kill you though

In a recent game I met two of my own ghosts on L:something, one of whom had been the direct cause of death for the other o_O
Wins (Does not include my GrEE^Veh 15-runer...stupid experimental branch)

When a ghost appears in a game it is removed from the "graveyard" and won't appear again. But if you die on a level with a ghost it will get saved again along with your own ghost.

Given how many deaths I've experienced between D1 and D3 lately, I no longer fear my own ghosts. Can't say this is a good thing.

You could play some ghouls, those don't leave ghosts.

or some berserkers, those wreck their own ghosts

Or abyssal knights, they can banish ghosts.

Our characters are already ghosts, that just happen to be stuck temporarily in meat.

In tiles, when you Ctrl-X a ghost, it reveals a completely different, Boo-ish type tile.

So if i'm right if you defeat a ghost then that ghost will never appear in game again?
