Fsim: quick tutorial?

Hi all,
I am trying to use fsim but I cant find documentation.
For example, I would like to run a "double scale" simulation with XL, Dexterity and skill.
I'd like to compare in this way slings, greatsling, shortbow, longbow. How can I do it?
The "standard" fsim runs with Fighting&Skill. How can I change it?
Thank you for any help!

You can just change stats and skills of the player character you run the simulation with?

& Y

& @
[enter str int dex as numbers with single space between them, press enter]

& S
[type name of skill, press enter] [type level you want to set it to, press enter]

& CTRL+L
[enter number that you want to set character level to, press enter, follow prompts]

& o
[follow menu instructions to generate the weapons and ammo that you want]

Use the above to set up the character the way you want, equip what you want, be sure to quiver arrows/sling bullets/etc.

& f
[launches fsim; type name of monster you want to run the simulation against, press enter]

Mmmm... in this case, yes, but it's very tedious, since I am sure there is a quicker way to do it.

I read in the git:
https://gitorious.org/crawl/crawl/sourc ... txt#L91-92

that you could put:

fsim_scale = XL, weapon:5, fighting:2

but I don't know *where* to put this thing, and how to specifiy player stats...

Also character level by itself is not going to affect fsim, except for stuff like a demonspawn getting a mutation that affects damage, or draconian becoming yellow and getting acidic bite, etc. Also set your str, int, dex *after* you've set your character level to whatever you want.

Vinestalker bite damage also (heavily) affects fsim results, and the damage scales with XL (along with the usual fighting/stats).

Put it into init.txt
