Uncursing Cursed Jewelry

I'm playing v0.15. I have two cursed rings on, but when I use a scroll of Remove Curse, it says "None of your equipped items are cursed."

So how do I uncurse my rings?

Does the jewelry have the {Curse} property listed in their effects—which is a different thing and can't be changed by scrolls—or do they say "cursed ring of ....." and appear in red text on the inventory screen? If the latter, and if they are equipped on you currently (not just being carried in your inventory), then this is a bug and you should post it on Mantis.
