What the hell is going on with my config?

This is driving me insane!

I am trying to set up a nice config file and I have it 99% working (as far as i can tell so far!).

I get in a game to test stuff out and my top row number keys are moving in correspondance to my numpad (regardless of num lock on/off). So 2 is moving me down, 6 right, etc. It is also moving as if I am holding shift as well for these keys.

I HAVE bindkey = [] CMD_NO_CMD_DEFAULT set up for every single one of these keys in my config file! Why is this so wonky?

It gets weirder though.

after this i decided i wanted to disable the vi keys so I added binkey = [] No Cmds for all those keys.
Magically my top row number keys work now even though I didn't change anything about them!

But now my tab does not auto fight. Cool.

I can reproduce both of these scenarios with those two changes every time.

Autofight breaks if you unbind vikeys because of how it's written.

Not sure about the numrow, it could be another crawl oddity or it could be something on your end.

Hmm. Still doesnt explain how turning off the vi keys magically fixes my number keys.
