"Durably summoned"

I am on Zot:4, and met an Executioner who is "durably summoned". What does this mean? (Will it disappear, only later? Or no?)
And how was it summoned this way and by whom?

Re: "Durably summoned"

Found this on the wiki:

Note that most monsters resulting from a miscast are summons: they do time out, can be abjured, do not leave items behind, and are not worth experience. Sometimes, they can be durable summons. Durable summons do not time out and cannot be abjured. There is a special case if Hell's mystical force produces a miscast effect that spawns any monsters: those monsters are not summons and are worth experience.

Basically what it means is that it was technically summoned, but it doesn't count as a summon. It won't go away and you will get experience for killing it. I'm guessing it was probably summoned by a Zot trap.

Thanks for the answers!

(If you are interested, I just tested Shadow creatures on the Exec, and they quickly sent it back wherever it came from.)

Re: "Durably summoned"

Found this as well, with regards to the Mercenary Card

It is a durable summon, which means that it is worth no experience, can't be abjured, can't time out, and doesn't leave any equipment behind.

So that's what it means.
