Why doesn't the game let me teleport when I need to?
In the Abyss, standing against three Hell Sentinels, I try to read thew blinking scroll, and "You cannot teleport right now", just like that. In the Swamp:5, against super-hydra, same thing. In the Shoals:4, against some unique water-elemental-summoning-thingy, same thing.
This is just so frustrating, why else would I need to hoard blinking scrolls other than escaping dangers?

The monster spell 'dimensional anchor' is another way to get -Tele. As far as I know it only appears on The enchantress and draconian shifters, but maybe it can appear in panlords/chaos champions/something else weird too.

Well then, wouldn't it make more sense to deliver "Your *stasis item* prevents you from teleporting" message?
