Is there any smart way of using those weapons?

The only approach I could think of was using another weapons for weaker enemies and switch to the *Rage in more difficult encounters. However this can backfire if rage ends in the middle of battle. Should one blink/teleport then?

I think clarity will prevent random berserk in the battle.

They cause random berserk? I don't recall ever having that happen to me before. I've always had to use the [A]bility.

Depends on the weapon. Some come with evokable berserk, others comes with berserkitus.

Randarts with *Rage are similar to berserkitis. Randarts with +Rage allow you to evoke rage. It's a small, but very important, distinction.

Actually it is the Amulet of Stasis which prevents going berserk.

Clarity prevents unintentional berserk. Stasis prevents all berserk. Chei worship prevents the haste part of berserk.

I might have to test it, but I am almost sure I went berserk wearing an Amulet of Clarity due to a "You tend to lose your temper in battle" mutation.

Looks like Clarity prevents it as well ...
