How many turns does it take for Trog to stop sending trolls and such at you?

I've decided to stick with Trog until I am strong enough to ditch him. The gifts are nice... I have a +4 +6 long sword of venom now.

After I ditch Trog and build into high level magic I'm going to have a crazy powerful melee caster combination.

you should have converted to lugonu :D
then you'd get trog wrath

Use controlled blinks to escape his berserkers or hide in the Hive (constantly levitating over water).

At least 30,000 turns.
