Holy Wrath on a Quick blade?

I got gifted a +3,+11 in this KoBe I'm playing. I vorpalised it, and I'm kicking butt with it, but I've been wondering: later, when I switch to TSO, should I go ahead and bless it for the endgame? Or should I make the switch to long blades and bless a demon blade? danr's sheet says overwhelming to go with the quickblade, but I can't tell why that is. How does the holy wrath brand work, exactly?

I'm thinking it might be worth it even if it just helps me take out smaller demons faster.

Take a closer look at the spreadsheet. You can see where the difference lies - in hits per turn, in damage per hit, or in hit percentage, or in some combination.

With +11 to damage, that qb probably has close to the same base damage ans the demon blade, or perhaps more. Holy wrath brand is a multiplier of the total base damage, so that +11 also means more holy damage.

So at +11, that qb would be sort of like a +0 holy blade with the speed brand added. The answer depends in how much you can enchant the demon blade and your ability to get long blades skill.

It might also be due to skill levels.

I compared to a +9 eudemon blade, with the avg damage per turn 36 - 50.7 (+8,+11 qb). Skills are equal.

It must have been because I left it at Sigmund. Switching to Ancient Lich made the demon blade come out in favor, 17-5
