Hmm, so I guess I must have been at fairly low health then, while 53 damage is a lot, it seemed like more to me. So I guess I'm remembering it as being a bit more devastating than it was, but then, I probably got hit by other monsters that turn as well.

Oh well, either way I don't recommend it.

I run away if I see the injury mirror flag on the death knight's sprite.

You are very reasonable.

I won't get hurt if I use summons to attack it, right, or am I the target of the Injury Mirror regardless of source?

The summons will get hurt, not you.

For curiosity, where are the normal (not OOD) monster generation rules defined? I know that monsters get a range of something like d:7 to d:13, and there's different ways it can be distrubuted (peak at the start, middle, or end?) but I've never actually seen the rules for it. What's a tengu warrior's definition? Is d:10 the first floor they can generate on normally (They could be placed as OOD earlier)?

I just found a Death Knight with his entourage of a skeletal warrior, wraith, and freezing wraith on D:7. It was no problem since I could run away, but is this intended?

Nope. Just a free-range herd of necroguys.

I went onto D:3 in a run today and there was just a Two-Headed Ogre there.

That would make the game a lot harder to be sure.
