It will however, give you several turns upon seeing something dangerous to get out of line of sight, at which point that something is at least temporarily irrelevant.
I know it very well, that's why I always rise this skill to at least 10-15 - it's very useful to see some unique or hydra\deathyak before them notice you.
That's why I call it "ultimate challendge" - you should run, becouse you aren't able to kill anyone.
For me - it's easier to kill anyone, that to run.
