Summon first. Get your Summon Butterflies going and taking up valuable summoning real estate, so his summons won't have any room for their creation.

I suspect this doesn't work all that well. All most summoners need to summon is one square free, and if they don't have one they'll just mass abjure - so both you and the summoner have wasted a turn at best, and at worst you'll have achieved nothing.

Yes.

According to LearnDB Eustachio doesn't have either abjuration or mass abjuration.

Every summoner knows mass abjuration. Don't believe me? Pick any summoner enemy you like and start spamming summons near him.

Yea, the combination of blink + mass abjuration is going to make that "protip" pretty pointless. I mean, its Eustachio. Even if it did work I'd suggest just decking him in the face instead.

Yeah, the trick to Eustachio is to just hold down tab. Can't summon when you're dead.

Eustachio and I were in a hallway.

I snuck up on him, he woke, I summoned butterfiles and filled the corridor. Every time a space opened up, I summoned butterflies. Every time a space didn't open up, I hit him.

Also, you can't blink into a space filled with butterflies.

This probably isn't much of a secret, but drinking a potion of agility before going berserk is a great combo. I tended to not use them much, but you can really tear through uniques this way. My DDAK took down Nikola and Wiglaf with surprisingly little damage thanks in part to this.

Extra evasion and extra HP > extra HP, better accuracy doesn't hurt, and you're in a much better position defensively if the berserk wears off earlier than you wanted it to.

Nice resurrection!
I'll add a couple of very situational ones that came up for me lately:
If you can sticky flame something invisible, it will become visible while it burns.
Hellions don't fly, so a single cast of shatter makes landing on Hellion Island quite fun.

Collect useless weapons/armour pieces early game. If you happen to meet a mummy, you can kill it and curse may affect one of those useless items.
