How do you kill OoF as FE?

If you must use fire magic, Fire storm works ok, or you can pick up a non fire method of killing them sometime between d1 and z5, or you can run away and not kill them

Orb of Destruction. Fire Storm is good if you have high spellpower (good Int and enhancers). It kind of sucks if you don't.

It doesn't matter that you are FE, because you have the entire game to find any other source of damage to kill them with.

This is like asking, "How does a MiFi kill OoF? A +0 flail or longsword isn't going to kill it fast enough."

The fact that people worry about and plan for OoFs on like D1 is really, really silly.

(And I say this as someone who doesn't like "uber-resistant" enemies and doesn't quite like how resistances work in Crawl in general. DCSS is a lot better with resistances than ToME, Dredmor, etc. though.)

Summon a bunch of allies, i prefer haunt but bag o spiders and box o beasts will do nicely as well, then start hitting it with whatever single target spell or trained weapon you've got.
