anything strong and melee focused with full equipment slots. HOGl/Fi is good.

My Gozag win was with SpEn (0.16). I figured I wasn't going to be eating those corpses anyway, may as well turn them into god-powers. I used the money to buy shops because I didn't know how to use Gozag; today I'd have potion petitinoed a lot more and shopped a lot less.

Octopode, octopode, octopode. Nothing is as much fun as an octopode with 30 AC due to 5 protection rings.

Conversely, nothing is less fun than an Octopode who uses Call Merchant 8 times and gets only 1 jewelry shop, containing no decent rings. Not my finest game to be sure, but I like to think that was mostly Gozag's fault.

My own Op^gozag ended up with a bunch of great rings, but none of them were from gozag shops!
