are there secret rooms in this sewer vault?

My spidey sense is tingling, but there's stone walls all around it I can't dig. Assuming we don't need teleport to get in, you can dig out the glass walls on the sides and fly over the water, but this character doesn't fly...Anything interesting in there?

This sewer is dumb. As you can see (bottom-left, top-left of your minimap) sometimes those are cracked open and you can go through. Sometimes they are closed off and you cannot get in.

Clearly, if you need to cross some water in the Sewer, Controlled Blink is the superior method. After you Shatter through the wall, of course.

Just avoid the sewers, they are full of adders and really dangerous rats and stuff and most characters will just end up dying. Definitely not worth the risk for a bunch of crappy potions.

That's some of the worst advice I've seen on this forum, and that's saying a lot. I hope I'm just missing your sarcasm or something.
The risk in entering a portal vault is so low that it may as well be 0. For all portal vaults other than labyrinths and ziggurats, the exit is ALWAYS right next to the entrance. The only way entering one can possibly kill you is if an exceptionally powerful player ghost generates right next to the entrance too.
Yes you can die in portal vaults if you're unspoiled or not paying attention or just a colossal idiot but it will never happen just from entering one, you have to go and actually fight the frost giant or whatever. Telling people not to enter portal vaults at all is saying one of two things:
1. You think they're so completely stupid and terrible at the game that they will not understand it is possible to leave them, even when the exit starts within LOS.
2. You are.
While it is often reasonable to give simplified, possibly slightly wrong answers to questions when the right answers too long or difficult (telling people to avoid mutation potions/chunks altogether is a good example), I don't think it helps in any way to treat new players like they have less intelligence than some single-celled organisms.

The vault is designed that way to randomize where the path to the next section will be. The designer just decided to have the game generate all three possible paths, and just randomly close off two of them. It's a rather brute-force method to randomize a sewer vault that you designed, but it's pretty easy to write. You are not intended to be able to get in, and that's not where the treasure spawns anyway. It's just a bunch of rats in the walls and stuff like that. Ignore the skittering noises.

I'm not sure how many times I've done this vault, I'd say probably 4-5 times...I've never once seen the top vault generate. Now I'm sad because I know it could be there.
