Two excellent pieces of armour - which to choose?

Heeyy, my first post in these forums :)
I'm currently aiming for an all-rune Troll of Okawaru.
I've mostly invested in Unarmoured Combat and Fighting, and trained enough Charm and Spellcasting to caste basic charms.

Right now I've cleared most of the dungeon and have the Crypt, Hell, Pandemonium and Slime Pit remaining.
These are two best pieces of armour that I have:

+6 troll leather armour of Vanity (Str +3 Int +5)
+2 pearl dragon armour (I'm currently out of Scroll of Enchant Armour)

Which one would be better?

EDIT:
I guess the question is more of - Which fairs more late game, extra points of Strength and Intelligence or extra rN and MR?

Yeah, this isn't much of a contest. Stat boosts just aren't that good, unless they're huge (eg. Chei stat boosts at high piety). Not useless, just not as useful as you'd think.

PDA does not give MR.

You're not going to get the regen effect of the artifact anyway, since you're already a troll. I would use the PDA, if you can get some more enchant armor scrolls.

Again, PDA.
If you are offended by something I've posted, just PM me. It probably wasn't intentional.

Re: Two excellent pieces of armour - which to choose?

It's actually not obvious to me that +2 PDA beats +6 TLA with +5 int. Tr strength might make it so because the dodging penalty is relatively small, but on many characters the TLA is probably preferable until you can enchant the PDA more. In general, overenchanted body armour is very good, and it also can free up EA scrolls for your auxiliary slots.

At any rate, if you're doing extended you're likely to come upon some more EA and a) it wouldn't take much EA to make the PDA clearly better; b) more rN is useful for extended.

I agree; without ?EA and absent a full character dump, it isn't a clear blow out in my opinion, though I imagine either would be quite good. So if you want to just put on the PDA hoping to get some ?EA as you progress, that would be fine.
