Help with MDwarf Assassin
Hey guys,
Newbie back again. So far I've been content to just play around with the various species and backgrounds to get a better feel for the game overall. But this character seems to have some staying power (though just barely after an encounter with some orcs) and so thought I'd ask for advice on how to proceed from here. So some questions:
1: I've just reached the Temple for the first time, though I worry about getting out of it alive with all the orcs roaming around it. What god would be best for my character-any particularly helpful to my stealthy, stabby sort?
2. What skills should I be training/not training? I'd like to get Stabbing up if I can. I nearly killed Sigmund with my backstab alone.
3. This character has been blessed (thanks RNG!) with some nice items and with an abundance of items overall-I have stashes all over the place of stuff I haven't been able to ID or hold on to due to item limits. He's found some nice rings. Should I swap in the Sustenace one for one of the others? I figure wait till I have no food to do that thanks to the nice rings I have on now. I really miss being able to usually ID anything easily from my Angband versions
4. Was blessed with the dagger of electrocution on D: 1, I've since found a dagger of speed. And who knows what other nice ones I may have once I can find another remove and/or detect curse spells. Which should I be using? Any I should be looking to get?
5. Same with armor? Do I have too much on in terms of stealth right now?
6. Any items I should be dropping so I can free up inventory space?
7. Any general advice going forward from here that is if I survive the orcs waiting for me outside the Temple? Specific Assassin tips?
