0.23 Release and Tournament Info

The tournament starts on Friday 8 February at 20:00 UTC and ends on Sunday 24 February at 20:00 UTC. Here's the tournament home page with a preliminary set of rules:

All rules are the same as the 0.22 tournament held in August 2018.
I am really disappointed
Are there any plans to adapt some ideas from
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=25660 for 0.24+?

As is my wont, I shall set up an extremely casual clan for anyone who wishes to group with no pressure to be competitive. Post in this thread if you're that way inclined.
Clan will be called Tavern Drunks, unless someone comes up with something more inspired.

No one has had the time to really work on the tournament scripts, and like all aspects of crawl, running the tournament is a volunteer activity (and a pretty time-intensive one at that). However, we are going to try to take a look at what can be done after the release happens (~tomorrow). Don't expect major rule revamps, but if there are good tournament player qol improvements that can be incorporated without a huge impact to the scripts, we may do some last-minute rule adjustments.
