CSDC: Week 3, Season 4 VSFi

Please use this thread for discussion of all things pertaining to Week 2 of Crawl Sudden Death Challenges Season 4.
Week 2: VSFi (Vine Stalker Fighter)
Tier I Bonus: Grab your first rune before exiting a branch aside from Temple
Tier II Bonus: Grab all three lair runes before exiting Lair
Week 2 Gods: Xom, Loguno, Jivya, Chei
For Tier 1, portals don't count; you can even go scum abyss if you think it's easier than both Lair runes and a disto weapon spawns...
Fair warning: If you intend to champion Jivya to get the rune, are aiming for Tier 1, and no Jivya altar spawns pre-Slime, you should get one of the non-slime runes first. It's nearly impossible to get 6*s of Jivya piety without exiting slime.
Championing Xom is impossible, so you must take him first and never abandon.
The same clarification goes on this week's god rules in non-Xom cases: From here on out you have to start with the weekly god, and not abandon till after championing if you want the point for the god. After that you can swap if you want.
