With regards to the scoreboard, players who have a redo available are now shown with gray and italicized font.

I also wanted to mention that on the Week 1 page, you can click a player's name to see the morgue file for their game. Moose changed the mouseover animation to make it more obvious that the names are links, since it wasn't obvious before. Cheers!

If one of the combos was a Dg, then I would add an extra bonus in place of the god point. It won't be a problem this season though.

The time limit can be extended in those cases. The spirit of allowing 2 weeks is to prevent players from being able to wait until everyone else has played before playing their game, not to punish players in the event that they're unable to play. Hopefully CLAN will be back up soon and it won't be an issue. I'm keeping any eye on it.

Actually winning is worth quite a lot, a minimum of 5 pts per win. But once you have 3 runes, the actual win really isn't much harder to do at all, which is why it's only worth 1 additional point to finish the game. Why punish someone even more for dying on Zot:5? Plus, I prefer to encourage players to do the bonuses rather than just play as safe as possible and win, which is why the bonuses are worth relatively more points.

I like current situation. Both combos so far had tier 2 bonus closely related to either 1st or 3rd rune. Thus player can get 3 points in a risky way (1 point for rune, 2 bonus points for tier 2) or play it safe and get the same 2-3 points (1 point for rune, 1 point for winning, 1 point for 3rd rune if tier 2 bonus is related to 1st rune). During week 2 combo I picked up a rune and expected to die right on next turn and it was ok as I got the same 3 points which I would possibly get for a win if playing it safe.
But still there is some hard choice even for experienced players, you can try to get all 10 points and die with only 3-4 points, or you can go for 9 points picking a god which is not among 4 bonus gods, or for 7 points (bonus god but no tier bonuses), or for 6 points (no god, no tier). This is cool IMHO as it never happens in normal games.

Question: does the actual game score have any impact on the board? also, im currently at first with 19 points but i only have 3 from week1 and 10 from week2... so, how does it work?

I finished a MfAs last night in trunk. If I understand correctly that one would count? Ironically, I started so late that if I had done well I wouldn't have wrapped up in time, buuuut ... I didn't do well. While I'm at it, thank you and WalkerBoh both, this is a very cool event, and the scoreboard is awesome.

Just a reminder that Week 1 and competition signups are now closed (I will add those of you who just joined in the last few hours), and I will be dropping any player who did not start their Week 1 or Week 2 games yet. I'll update the divisions a little later tonight, and then they will be locked going forwards.

I'm out, first time doing this and I seriously misread some of the rules, especially the one about restarts. Really cool idea though, and I appreciate all the organization and legwork that goes into providing this for the players.

Do you need to finish your character to get points, or will characters in progress be graded after two weeks?

You need to finish your game. If there's some odd circumstance, I can hardcode your points, but I've set up my scoreboard to look for a logfile entry to determine your final score.

This of course can be changed, but I don't really feel inclined to do so, since the large majority (if not all) of players actually finish their csdc games.

On the first week I let games in progress be scored since signups had just closed and some people had only just joined. After that I don't plan on it.
