I was just getting clarification on options; I find Nem to be too unpredictable for me in a tournament scenario where I need things to be at least somewhat reliable. Though "reliably unpredictable" isn't what I meant by that.

Posted: Friday, 30th May 2014, 17:03To clarify, I mean that you can use him, just know that he is likely to undergo significant changes and so if you don't want your game to be potentially affected by a nem nerf, don't worship him or don't upgrade your game once it's started.

Nope you can play now. When I add you it will update the score for any games you already played.

Posted: Sunday, 1st June 2014, 21:13I added some Division Statistics to the "Overview" tab of the standings sheet. Just shows games played and won for each division, by week and overall. Maybe I'll add a page with individual player stats next week, if I have time.

Your family won't let you play one game a week?
That's one of the alluring things about csdc. It's just *one* game. Granted, that's still ~4-10 hours of time if you do well.

Upon arrival we will have a 2 weeks vacation trip and I am not going to use internet there.
1 game per week does not look much but it corresponds to 10+ hours for slow player like me which is quite a lot.
Edit. My first game took 10:37:28, my second one took 12:12:28 and I had only 2 runes when died.

I really wanted to beat dpeg, but I wouldn't have signed up at all if I had known how ridiculous June and July were going to end up being for me. Between moving, finding a new job, and finishing up this art show, I find all I want to do that's crawl related is watch other people play.
Also it turns out I am terrible at Crawl, so, you know, no great loss.

Nah I used a similar method as in Season 1, and I'm afraid it's not very scientific. It's a combination of wins, win rate, and average score. I used performance in Season 1 as well, when I needed more information.
I tried to group all similar players together as much as I could, though of course there is likely overlap between the lower Div 1 and upper Div 2 players, and same for Div 2 and 3. So that's why I'm asking, if you think you should be higher or lower, let me know, because there is room to flex players around who were on the border.

Yeah, I'll probably take a few weeks after this season's playoffs finish to tweak around the rules again and then open Season 3 signups. Participation has been dropping steadily all season, but we still have way more people playing than I originally thought would join. And I'm willing to keep running it as long as there are enough people interested.
