The Tavern

Background:
Xom was getting BORED. So many of his champions (ERTSE) had gone forth, and died in many humorous (HASETY) ways. But they had all left him. Nobody liked his randomness (LET'S GO RIDE BIKES), and loved that stupid Nemelex instead. He was ticked off, and he (FISH) had had enough. It was time to challenge the rest of the (DFDSF) tavern, and challenge them now.

The Challenge:
You must be a Chaos Knight. You must stick with Xom for the entire game, and always use a Chaos-Branded weapon (except when changing weapons to chaos brand something). The exception = Xom's gifts. You also must randomly select everything except your Chaos Knight class.
(The following bonuses are optional)


Tier 1 Bonus: Whenever you get a weapon gift from Xom, you must use it for the rest of the time you are on that level, until you move to a different level. This bonus must be carried out throughout the whole game.

Tier 2 Bonus: Your character must be named (Insertnamehere) Of Xom, must never kill a crimson imp, must visit the Abyss 5 times, completing a level each time, and get all the Pandemonium runes (killing the Pan Lords is not needed).

King Of Randomness Bonus: You must win in .12, .13, and trunk. You must also spend 100 turns adjacent to a Xom altar whenever you find one. (This includes the Temple.)You must complete the Tier 1 and 2 bonuses, too. To top it all off, Crazy Yiuf must survive throughout your entire game, and be tamed by you with a wand of enslavement twice.


No registration is necessary, just your name.
When you finish the challenge, post your logfile and any bonuses that you found.


Xom will have challenges last for 3 weeks. The first challenge (the one posted above) will begin on April 7'th, Midnight (California Time).

There will also be teams that you can register for up until 11:59 PM on April 6th.

As an added bonus, the team that has the most high-tier scorers gets to design Challenge 2's King Bonus and the second best team gets to design the Tier 2 Bonus.

Also, the highest scoring player in both points, bonuses, and runes gets to decide what the Class/Race and team names for the challenge will be.
(Of course, it must be Xom related.)

So... Chaos Knight that never unwields their chaos weapon? I think I can give that a try.

I've spectated a Xom player using Demon foo of chaos in Hell branches, that was surprisingly strong (paralyzed Ice Fiends were fun)

And I guess hasted Ice Fiends were even more fun

No, I haven't seen them. I didn't spectate long enough, that was one of top players so I think he knew what he was doing. Or maybe it was self-imposed challenge
