The tile of eveningstar differs from morningstar also only by color.
A new one with longer spikes would not be bad.

I thought of an alternate design for eveningstars... not sure if it's better or worse, but at least it's more different from the morningstars, making it easier to tell them apart.

I tried to go for something that looks like the one on the right in this image:

I think that is an excellent idea but the new ones there don't really look weapony enough to me. Perhaps a thicker head and more space between the spikes.

Well it looks like an expensive toilet brush.

My thought was a bottle brush, but then I'm only about 15 months removed from having used those on a daily basis.

Hm, yes, it's a bit problematic to create spikes and stuff in such small space... I'll try to improve it though.

Ok, ok. A little addition: 3rd morningstar & eveningstar to be used for artifacts, also, player doll tile for eveningstar.

Perhaps a little more gold on the handles of the artefact ones? Ideally they should be easily identifiable at speed, i.e. o-ing rapidly through a level.

Or something directly contrasting, like a gem in the pommel or veins in the grip.

Well that sort of thing is kind of hard to do at that size... let's see what I can do

Just thinking outside the box here; extremes are fun: this color is always somewhat interesting, as is this one.

First off, great work dd.

I think it looks better without the jumbo sized crosspiece.

Yeah I noticed, I already made it smaller.
