Meating with a spear or mace

I'm having a hard time getting used to separating kobolds from their meat using my mace. I don't think it's a bad thing. But it seems to be brushing up against my insecurities about getting excess amounts of kobold juice all over me. Don't you all go through the motions when you press 'c' in perfect sync with your heroic champion? Let me tell you, it was easier on the imagination with a cutting tool.

Help.

edit: ug, i had said i press 'C' instead of 'c'. Killed my erersion for at least an hour. What a loser. we all know it's really 'c'. Help help.

In my experience scrolls of acquirement more often result in tears and "WHY GOD WHY" than laughs.
Although if my god happens to be Xom at the time then the answer to "why god why" is pretty obvious: because Xom thinks it's hilarious. Then I suppose you're acquiring laughs, though acquiring laughs for Xom rather than yourself.
